A-B Sky was founded in 2017 by an experienced taxi operator who'd run private hire businesses for years. After watching how the market handled airport runs — surge pricing, hidden fees, last-minute cancellations — he decided to focus the business exclusively on airport transfers and do them properly: honest fixed prices, every fee included, no nasty surprises at the kerb.
A-B Sky launched with a small group of drivers our founder had worked with for years — people he already knew and trusted to handle early-morning Heathrow runs, late-night Stansted pickups and everything in between. As the business grew we kept that standard: every new driver is personally vetted, DBS-checked, and brought into a team that takes pride in the job.
Today the fleet is 70–80 vehicles and growing — saloons, estates, MPVs, 8-seat minibuses and executive cars — all regularly quality-checked. We've served over 15,000 customers from our base near Luton Airport, covering every major UK airport from Luton and Heathrow to Manchester and Birmingham.

No surge pricing. Ever. A 4am Tuesday pickup costs the same as a 4pm Tuesday pickup. A Christmas Day run costs the same as a regular weekday. Some competitors charge "premium" rates for early-morning, late-night and bank holidays — we never have, we never will.
